Hastings Transfer Station Fully Re-Opens Aug. 20

The Oswego County Solid Waste Department announces the Hastings Transfer Station, located at 1391 US Rte. 11, will fully re-open on Thursday, Aug. 20.

“We’re glad to get everything fully up and running at the transfer station in Hastings,” said Mike Lutestanski II, director of Oswego County Solid Waste. “Over the last few months, we replaced the main compactor and conducted maintenance on the recycling compactor, so we can now go back to processing trash and recycling materials in their respective buildings.”

The Hastings Transfer Station will now resume its regular weekly schedule of being open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Weekday hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.
