Fort Edward Woman Arrested for Deliberately Ramming Vehicle

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the Cumberland Farms on Broadway in the Town of Fort Edward for a two-car property damage accident on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Upon arrival, deputies observed two vehicles—one with front-end damage and one with rear damage. Upon interviewing all parties involved and witnesses on scene, it was determined that Christina M. Millington, 45, of Argyle, New York, had intentionally rammed the other vehicle.

Millington had confronted an individual familiar to her at another location and followed him to the Cumberland Farms. When that subject got in the vehicle with two other people and they went to leave, Millington backed out of the parking space and accelerated to the entrance of the parking lot, where she struck the other vehicle as it pulled onto Broadway.

Nobody was injured in the crash. Fort Edward EMS and Moreau EMS responded and evaluated two individuals as a precaution.

Millington was subsequently arrested without incident and charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd, a class D Felony, and three counts of Reckless Endangerment 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor. She was remanded to the Washington County Jail pending arraignment in Washington County Centralized Arraignment.
